01The app
Codex: Bulk Discount Codes is a Shopify app for creating and managing discount codes. You need a Shopify store to use it, and your use of Shopify itself is covered by Shopify's own terms.
02Using the app
- You must be allowed to act for the store the app is installed on.
- You're responsible for what staff with access to the app do in it.
- Don't misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, to reach another store's data, or to use it for anything unlawful, such as spam.
03Your discounts are yours to manage
The app creates real discounts in your store. You decide what they offer, who gets the codes and how they're shared, and you're responsible for them, including checking a discount's settings before you share its codes. The risk audit helps you find risky settings, but it can't guarantee that a discount won't be misused.
04Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed by Shopify, on your Shopify invoice.
- Free trials last for the period shown when you choose a plan. If you don't cancel before a trial ends, the paid plan starts.
- You can change plans or cancel at any time, by switching plan in the app or by uninstalling it. Cancelling stops future charges.
- We may change our prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you.
05No refunds
All charges are final. We don't give refunds or credits, including for partial billing periods, unused codes, downgrades or time you didn't use the app. Any credit Shopify's own billing rules give you, for example when you uninstall, is handled by Shopify.
06If you uninstall
Uninstalling cancels your plan. Discounts made in the app stop working, because they rely on the app; discounts you made elsewhere in Shopify aren't affected. We delete your store's data as our privacy policy describes.
07Your data
What you create in the app is yours. You let us store and process it only to run the app for you, as our privacy policy explains. We never sell it.
08Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the app running and your codes working, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or retire features. If we ever shut the app down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.
09No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will be fit for a particular purpose.
10Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits, or for losses caused by a discount or code being misused. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
11Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or use the app in a way that harms others or the service.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms.
